Display Contact Name on Mobile

It would be really helpful if, while on mobile (iOS for me), when a call is received, the contact name is displayed even if I'm not currently in the app. At present, when a salesmsg call comes in, all I get is the number and that it's via salesmsg. But, I have no idea who the caller is until I answer.
