Hazel Stork you can do this now. Just create the Custom Fields and populate them with your contacts information to merge them into your texts.

Chris Brisson: When I'm in (beta) workflows, when trying to insert, for example, a "merge fields", it won't let me select it. My mouse cursor instead changes to a circular "yield-like" sign...
