Allow Manual Linking of Salesmsg Call Activity to a Pipedrive Deal

I would really like to have the ability to manually link call activities created in Pipedrive to deals. At the moment, Salesmsg records an activity in Pipedrive on the contact record, which is fine, but its locked and can’t be opened and manually linked to a deal like an SMS allows. This is a huge issue for us and is pretty standard on other platforms. We love the texting capabilities of Salesmsg, but I was specifically looking to unify my text and calling platform, and the fact that I can’t link calls to a specific deal or add other contacts to a call, etc. is a problem for us.
I hope that you guys can fix this issue quickly as it seems like a simple thing since you already allow the editing of activity SMS records…not sure why you don’t allow it for call logs.

Night sky Cuckoo Thanks for laying this out — super helpful context, and I can see why this is a big blocker if you’re trying to keep calls tied to specific deals in Pipedrive. We’re going to take a closer look at why call activities are coming through locked (vs SMS activities being editable) and what it would take to support manually linking them to deals / adding other contacts. We’ll dig in on our side and follow up once we have more info.
